Johanna Karppinen runs Friday Capital, a boutique film financing & consulting company based in Helsinki. Friday Capital focuses on different forms of collateral lending for projects with feasible commercial and artistic quality. Recent projects she’s been involved in include films such as Tove, Nimby and Animals. Previously Johanna was the Head of Audiovisual Finland. She also founded and ran the film commission of the northernmost and largest region of Finland, Finnish Lapland.
