Welcome to the leading film festival in Scandinavia. During eleven intense days, we give you more than 400 films from some 80 countries and a packed program with seminars, workshops, parties, industry activities and new meeting places. We sell around 130 000 tickets every year, to more than 1000 film screenings.
During eleven intense days, we give you more than 450 films from some 80 countries. A small number of film tickets for each screening will be reserved for the press and can be picked up in at the press center Scandic Rubinen. The tickets are released the day before the screening. The ticket office will be open 8.30-12am daily during the festival. (Please observe that the press center will open 10.00 am). If you don’t manage to get a press ticket, accreditated journalists have access to the festival screening subject to availability (don’t forget your press badge).

Scandic Rubinen at Kungsportsavenyn is our new location for our industry and press centre during the festival. This is where you collect your accreditation badge, find spaces for meeting, working sites and take a break at the rooftop festival bar. Our staff here offer you support and can answer all your questions about the festival. Wi-Fi will be available.
We are happy to help you book interviews with the festival guests. We can also assist you with documents, pictures, trailers etc. More information about the guests attending the festival will be announced well before start. For interview requests, please contact us at press@goteborgfilmfestival.se.

Press accreditation means full access* to all the events at the Festival Arena. This is where you will find all the talks, seminars, workshops and parties. This is the place to return to day after day and night after night to enjoy the fact that theres a festival in town. Relax, have a coffee or a beer and meet friends and colleagues. The festival has an extensive seminar program with Master Classes, Works in Progress, discussions and meetings with filmmakers represented at the festival, all open for you to attend. Don’t forget your press badge.
You will be able to screen the majority of our festival films at your own computer via the streaming service Festival Scope. In late January and once your accreditation is confirmed, you will get an e-mail with you personal login details.
