Julia Thelin (b. 1991) is a screenwriter and director. Thelin studied film at Fridhem Folkhögskola (2011–2013) and screenwriting at Brobygrafiska (2014–2015). Thelin has directed dance films, music videos, and short films. She has written and directed the short films Push It and Tweener, which were screened at most Swedish festivals, and has competed in a number of festivals abroad. Her most recent short, Sorry Not Sorry, is nominated to Startsladden – Best Swedish Short at Göteborg Film Festival 2019.
